Hayley started dancing at a young age and hasn't stopped since! As a child she took part in many shows and completed exams throughout school and college. She went on to train professionally in all areas of Performing Arts and Musical Theatre on the Diploma course at Italia Conti Arts Centre in Guildford. Whilst training here Hayley undertook her dance and drama teaching qualifications, gaining the Diploma in Dance Instruction (DDI) followed by the Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) in Ballet, Tap and Modern with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), completing her drama teaching qualification with London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and becoming a qualified cheerleading and gymnastics coach with the IASF. She also completed the Professional Certificate in Education (PCE) through Greenwich University and has since gained teaching exerience at many dance and Performing Arts schools.  


Professionally Hayley also works as a dancer, actress and singer and has featured in a number of stage shows, music videos, TV programmes and films. Visit to find out more about her performance work.


Hayley currently helps out with dance parties, events and classes at LWSOD and is very excited to be part of the team!


Lucinda began dancing at 4 years old, at a local dance school during which time she took part in a number of shows including 'Born to Perform' at Wembley and 'Young Performers' at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Haymarket. She also took part in two professional pantomimes; 'The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe' at The Adrian Mann Theatre and 'Cinderella' at Epsom Playhouse. Lucinda took many IDTA and BTDA examinations, as well as taking part in various festivals at which she was awarded numerous medals.


To extend her training Lucinda moved to Laine Theatre Arts as a semi student. She completed ISTD examinations, and attended their International Dance Summer Schools. Academically Lucinda graduated from Roehampton University with a BA Hons Degree in Dance Studies. Lucinda is a qualified teacher of the International Dance Teacher's Association (IDTA).


During the day Lucinda works at Long Ditton Infant and Nursery School as a Teaching Assistant and PPA Cover Teacher, teaching Dance to Year 1 and Year 2 students. Lucinda is continuously training in a new dance syllabus, so watch out for new disciplines being added to the timetable!

Sarah has had a lot of experience with dance, learning Freestyle, Hip Hop, Street and Cheerleading from a young age. She graduated from the University of Surrey in Guildford with a Degree in Dance and Culture, majoring in African Peoples Dance and Kathak.


Sarah has completed a Sports leadership qualification in dance, the IDTA Associate Freestyle Qualification and the IDTA Associate Cheer Technique and Cheer Stunt Diploma. She has also gained her Associate Teacher Qualification and Certificate III in Community Recreation with the Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD). In addition, Sarah also has a Level 2 qualification in Exercise to Music (ETM) allowing her to teach adult fitness classes.


Sarah is the choreographer for the Southwest London Gangshow which takes place every year at the Secombe Theatre in Sutton.


Sarah is a senior dance teacher at LWSOD, teaching on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Meet The Team

Alana began dancing at the age of 5, She trained in RAD Ballet and ISTD Tap, Modern and National dance. At a young age she competed at regional and national competitions in group and solo dances, working her way up to being asked to perform at Sadlers Wells.


Alana went on to train for two years at The Northern Ballet School completing all RAD ballet exams and participating in the ballet and jazz course. Whilst at Northern she also taught gymnastics at her local leisure centre. On leaving the Northern Ballet School, Alana moved to London and completed a BA (Hons) in contemporary dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. During and after her training at Laban, Alana performed with graduate companies and was involved with Dance Umbrella and Dance UK.


Alana took a year out  to travel the world and since getting back changed her focus to teaching. She has started her ISTD modern teacher training and has just been accepted on the RAD certificate of ballet teaching course. Alana also teaches Release and Cunningham based contemporary classes in South East London.


Alana currently assists LWSOD classes on a Monday and teaches contemporary and adult ballet.

Natalie has been dancing since the age of two and has trained in all forms of dance: RAD and Cecchetti ballet, ISTD modern, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip hop and musical theatre.  She is fortunate to have learned and worked with choreographers such as Blake McGrath, Shannon Mather, Tina Landon and Luther Brown.  Originally from Vancouver, Canada, she competed at many local and national competitions and was named Senior Performer of the Year at the British Columbia Annual Dance Competition as well as being the British Columbia Provincial Champion in stage dance.  Natalie has just completed her second year of training at Laine Theatre Arts and is working on obtaining her ISTD Musical Theatre teaching certification and a BA(Hons) in Musical Theatre.


Natalie has always loved to perform and has performed at the Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Paralympics, the Women’s Softball Championships and has spent her last three summer’s working professionally performing at the Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver.
